Europhysics Conferences are organised by the EPS or one of its Divisions, Sections, or Groups. The Europhysics Conference label guarantees quality, provides visibility and is necessary for access to EPS grants. The applications should be sent within 6 months before the conference begins.

Europhysics Conferences:
Provide the EPS Secretariat with summary information regarding the event
Undertake to place the EPS logo on conference materials
Provide a report on the conference

Conferences organised by EPS Divisions and Groups should notify the EPS Secretariat to obtain the Europhysics Conference Label using the Notification Form.

Grant opportunities

The EPS makes funds available each year for a limited number of conference grants, directly to organisers of EPS Europhysics Conferences to allow the participation of young scientists in meetings.

Monitoring Gender Fair practices at Europhysics Conferences

A better representation of women in Physics at all stages of the career is central for all Society caring about the well being of its members. A key element in the career development of physicists is represented by their participation at conferences as speaker, committee member and organiser.

Through its Divisions & Groups, EPS organises many of premier conferences in physics in Europe and the world. In order to reach a better gender balance, EPS would like to put in place a monitoring of the women participation in the physics conferences organised by the EPS.
