In this issue of ALICE Matters, you can read following:
Central shifts in the ALICE Run Control Centre
Crucial for the experiment, the Data Quality Monitoring (DQM) prevents us from recording bad or low-quality data by alarming the DQM shifter in the Control Centre of any potential problem with the raw data which may occur.
The ALICE Juniors
The ALICE juniors form a community of people in the beginning of their career. They conduct a big part of the day-to-day data analysis, they perform service tasks, detector calibration and development, thus contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the experiment.
