Crucial for the experiment, the Data Quality Monitoring (DQM) prevents us from recording bad or low-quality data by alarming the DQM shifter in the Control Centre of any potential problem with the raw data which may occur.

The ALICE Juniors
The ALICE juniors form a community of people in the beginning of their career. They conduct a big part of the day-to-day data analysis, they perform service tasks, detector calibration and development, thus contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the experiment.

During an official ceremony on the 29th of June, Barbara Erazmus was made a chevalier of the Legion of Honour. It is the highest French order awarded for civil merits, established in 1802 by Napoléon Bonaparte.
