Venue & suggestion for accomodation IJCLab is located on the Université d’Orsay Paris-Sud Campus, 25 kilometers south-west of Paris. The easiest way to reach the Orsay campus is by taking the RER B line to the Orsay-Ville station (you must take the RER line B in direction to Saint Remy Les Chevreuses). Once you arrive at the station Orsay-Ville, go to the end of the patform (in the direction of Saint Remy Les Chevreuses) and take the exit that leads directly onto campus, very close to building 100. The nearest hotels to IJCLab :
The following options require either a car or public transport to reach the conference venue: - Hôtel Au bord du Lac, Saint Remy les Chevreuses (5 minutes walk to the RER station Saint Remy Les Chevreuses)
- Hotel du Villagem Gif sur Yvette *10 minute walk to the RER station Gif sur Yvette)
- Hotel la Coupières (20 minutes walk to the RER station Gif sur Yvette)
You can also stay in Paris or the outskirts anywhere close to the RER line B (RER B stations in Paris: Châtelet les Halles, Saint Michel, Luxembourg, Port Royal, Denfert Rochereau, or closer to Orsay: Massy Palaiseau). It takes you 35-40 minutes to get to Orsay from the station Châtelet les Halles. It is true that since the Olympic games, the service has become much more reliable….but it can get crowded in the mornings….and evenings… Draft agenda
