Professor Gillian Gehring awarded an Honorary Doctor of Science at University of Hull

In January 2013, the University of Hull awarded Professor Gillian Gehring with an Honorary Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) The degree of D.Sc. is awarded for work of an exceptional standard.

Professor Gehring is Honorary Member of the EPS and served as chairperson of the Gender Equality in Physics committee (currently Equal Opportunities committee).
