ESPD Conference/Workshops:

This committee investigates the eligibility and opportunity of ESPD/EPS sponsoring when requested by organizers of conferences and workshops. It also formulates and advises the extent of the support, incl. ESPD student & young postdoctoral grants, and stimulates collaborations with organizations similar to the ESPD - in other parts of the world (e.g. CESPM, AAS/SPD).

ESPD Summer School:

This committee is in charge of organisation the biennial ESPD summer school.

ESPD Prizes and Awards Committee:

This committee is responsible for submitting nominations of ESPD members for existing EPS, EAS and EGU prizes. It also prepares the modalities for one or more new "ESPD prizes" (to be awarded by the ESPD itself), e.g. best popular writing awards, best PhD thesis awards, best poster awards on ESPM conferences, etc.

ESPD Website, Education and Public Outreach Committee:

This committee is responsible for setting up, developing and updating the web pages of the ESPD, develop and implement the ESPD Education and Public Outreach Program, and communicate news relevant to the community.

ESPD Nominating Committee:

This committee submits nominations to the ESPD Secretary for vacancies in the positions of ESPD Board members and Committee-persons. It also ascertains the willingness of its nominees to serve if elected.
