About the EPS TIG:
The current aims of the EPS Technology and Innovation Group are:
- to encourage contacts between EPS members and specialists in the domain of scientific (physics) instrumentation, technology and related innovation;
- to stimulate international co-operation and exchange of information;
- to contribute, in close connection with other EPS Groups and Divisions, to industrial and EU-policies supporting the goals of EPS.
Membership of the EPS TIG is open to individuals or institutions (universities, research laboratories, companies, etc.) interested in technologies and innovation of scientific instrumentation and who are members of the European Physical Society.
The EPS-TIG operates according to a set of Statutes and Rules.
The EPS-TIG is managed by a Board, initially appointed by the Group Chair. Elections to the Board Members and the Group Chair are held as a rule every three years.
