On October 28, 2011 the Energy Working Group of the Real Sociedad Española de Física (RSEF, Royal Spanish Physical Society) has been created during its Biannual Meeting. Professor Dr. Jose Manuel MARTINEZ DUART was elected for one year term till the general Statutes and Council of the Group will be established. Information about the new "Grupo Especializado en Energía" (GEE), at the moment in Spanish, can soon be found on the RSEF website www.rsef.org. A good start is that four Members of the new GEE have won the EPRI Technology Tranfer Award. /hb
