In the year 2014, the EPS-CEI supported and promoted exchange of physicists and physics research across South-Eastern and Central (Central-Eastern) Europe. In the field of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics these activities were significantly integrated in the SEENET-MTP Network program. After the ExCom meeting held in Budapest - October 2013, due to limited financial and other resources, implementation of the Project "Towards the integration of the physics community in CEI countries into the ERA" was recognized as the Committee's task priority.
In general, activities of the EPS-CEI can be grouped in the following actions:
- Action 1: Project "Towards the integration of the physics community in CEI countries into the ERA".
- Action 2: Integrating Access to Research Infrastructures in Europe.
- Action 3: Training - EPS School Program - Schools for Physics students.
- Action 4: Education and teachers training.
